Fast-Track Your Space Mission.

Traditional timelines to get your mission into space are significantly shortened when you work with a Mission Planning service. Our systematic Get Spaceborne™ program leverages standard mission models and commercial off-the-shelf components that will get your mission off the ground sooner.

Mission Services.

Orbital Transports is your general contractor for space missions. The company conducts mission planning and systems engineering, coordinates supply chain partners, and connects technologies together to deliver your mission.

Mission Architecture And Planning

A Mission Architecture Plan is an essential step in building a space mission. Orbital Transports brings
extensive knowledge and expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies and
systems engineering for spacecraft missions and has incorporated these capabilities into its MAP service
offering. The MAP service will analyze your mission or program requirements, identify an appropriate
solution architecture for implementation, and develop an execution plan. This plan will ensure that your
mission is successful and cost-effective, and that any potential issues or challenges that may arise during
the implementation process are identified and addressed well in advance.

The Mission Architecture and Planning Service includes the following elements:
● Mission Specification
● Architecture Study
● Implementation Plan Development

Rideshare and Hosted Payload Service

The MAP analysis feeds into the Get Spaceborne™ Rideshare and Hosted Payload Service, which provides an easy on-ramp to space for payloads ranging from technology demonstration and qualification to full-
on constellation-scale deployments. Why waste precious time and money building your own spacecraft and operating your own mission? Fly your payload aboard a shared spacecraft bus equipped with power, propulsion, communications, payload management, and data interfacing. By manifesting multiple payloads on the same spacecraft, we can enable more cost-effective missions. As a rideshare or hosted payload service, Get Spaceborne™ offers these benefits:

● Turn-key Mission: operate your complete mission on a shared satellite bus
● Cost Effective: less costly than a dedicated space mission or constellation
● Deploy Faster: deploy hardware faster and beat the competition to market

Possible applications include Earth observation, in-orbit demonstration, communications, atmospheric research, microgravity research, space domain awareness, astrophysics, constellation deployment, RF monitoring, edge computing, satellite servicing, and greenhouse gas monitoring.

Payload slots are available in standard CubeSat form factors ranging from 1U to 16U, accommodating a range of products. Other payload sizes are available upon request. A standard payload management API simplifies integration of your product with the spacecraft bus. Orbital Transports handles the space logistics of getting your payloads to orbit so you can focus on your primary mission objectives.

Payload Return
Service

ARGO is a complete payload return service providing terrestrial markets with regular high-cadence, rapid-
return, orbit-to-ground delivery for biotech and other high-value, time-sensitive payloads. This service provides game-changing access for multiple in-space industries, including microgravity manufacturing,
regenerative medicine, commercial bioengineering, and advanced materials production. Payloads can be
launched to space, operated in-orbit for the duration of the mission, and then returned from orbit to Earth
without requiring human intervention or access to the International Space Station. ARGO is especially
well-suited for short-duration missions requiring flexibility in payload return timing.
Depending on the configuration, payloads of up to 50 kg can be returned from orbit. The payload
environment is maintained at a temperature within safety limits during re-entry, depending primarily on
power from onboard batteries. A parachute is deployed for the terminal stages of descent and a GPS
transponder enables tracking and recovery. Peak g-forces up to 8g occur transiently at parachute deployment and touch down, and the sustained g-forces during descent are benign. The standard-
parachute re-entry devices can achieve a precision landing ellipse of less than 30 km at a 99% confidence interval. A less than 10 km landing ellipse can be attained with a guided ram-air parafoil recovery system. Depending on the location of the landing zone, payloads can be deorbited and returned to the customer within as little as a few hours.
